New Custom Arrangements

I spent most of the day yesterday arranging new music for us. I think I arranged around 10-12 pieces so far. Most of them are classical and I'm not sure yet how useful they will be. We'll find out tomorrow when we get together and try playing them!

I did a custom arrangement of the theme from "Jaws." I am a huge fan of John Williams and it was a lot of fun to work on, but I just kept thinking "Who will request this song!?" I imagined what it might be like played as a bridal processional and laughed to myself. It will never be requested for a wedding (and this is probably a good thing) but what could it be requested for? A party? Not likely. Anything else? Not likely. So I suppose that we will simply play it only during our jam sessions for our own amusement and entertainment. Sometimes it is fun to do that.

A couple other pieces I added are, "Minute Waltz" by Chopin, "Liebesfreud" by Kreisler, and "Trio in C" by Mozart. Today I am working on an arrangement of "Piano Concerto No. 1" by Tchaikovsky, "Minuet in G" by Bach, and the theme from the first movement of "Symphony No. 6" by Tchaikovsky.

We get together again tomorrow to rehearse for a wedding and to record some more clips. Please let us know what you might like to hear added to our audio clips! I will be checking our email and comments here during our session tomorrow, so feel free to comment or email.

What clips would you like for us to record next?
