Baroque, Celtic, and Folk
We've added even more selections to our list of repertoire!
We have several new Baroque arrangements from more obscure and unusual composers such as Charles Wesley, Samuel Wesley, Thomas Arne, William Hamilton Bird, and J. H. Fiocco to name a few. These pieces are light, airy, and graceful. Very elegant and classy!
We have also added a few selections of folk songs to the mix. They are beautifully and uniquely arranged for string trio and include (among others) "Shenandoah," "Sourwood Mountain," and "Loch Lomond."
The other selections that have been added are Celtic. We have long needed more Celtic music as many have requested it. We enjoy it a lot but haven't had a great selection of it up till now! We now have quite a few very nice Celtic arrangements including "Flow Gently, Sweet Afton," "Morgan Magan," "Dance to Your Shadow," "My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose," and "Highland Cathedral."
We are so excited to be able to add these amazing songs to our repertoire. We'll be learning and practicing them faithfully in the next few days. Soon sound clips will be in order!
